GetSetUp is pleased to announce its most recent platform functionality, highlighting the impact of GetSetUp across the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH). This functionality now documents statistically significant improvements in members' reported confidence across all SDOH pillars. The initial analysis of findings from this new tool, drawn from surveys of 3,507 unique learners across 1,569 unique classes delivered to over 80 different partner organizations, including health plans, government agencies, libraries, and community organizations, demonstrates that GetSetUp's virtual, peer-to-peer education model produces consistent, measurable outcomes where they matter most.

The latest impact report uses a validated pre- and post-class survey methodology to capture shifts in confidence on a 5-point scale. Overall, GetSetUp produced an average confidence gain of +32.9% across all SDOH categories, with average scores rising from 3.16 to 4.20. Among the 23.7% of members who arrived with very low confidence (rating 1 or 2), 75% achieved a rating of 4 or 5 after completing just a single class.

"We hear regularly from learners about the positive impact of our classes and have gotten testimonials and feedback expressing this,” said Lawrence Kosick, Co-Founder of GetSetUp. “Now we have a new resource for our partners to assess SDoH challenges, recommend specific programming to address gaps, so our partners have measurable impact scores on how these sessions are in helping to improve the lives of their community members.”

Key findings from the report include:

Digital Inclusion & Telehealth Readiness: +45.0% confidence gain, the highest single-category result, with key technology classes achieving 100% of learners rating 4 or 5 post-class.

Healthcare Access, Navigation & Health Literacy: +37.3% gain, directly supporting prescription drug adherence and Emergency Department avoidance.

Economic Stability & Benefits Navigation: +36.2% gain, relevant to benefits enrollment and grant compliance.

• Fall Prevention & Mobility: +29.6% gain, addressing ways to improve mobility and help prevent falls, one of the leading causes of health decline for older adults

Social Connection & Behavioral Health: +32.1% gain, correlating with reduced social isolation and fewer inpatient readmissions.

Medicare navigation classes were a particular standout: every class in this category, including How to Use Medicare's Online Tools: MyMedicare.gov, Maximizing Your Medicare Part B Benefits, and Prescription Savings: How to Find the Best Prices, achieved a perfect post-class score of 5.00 and a 100% rate of learners reaching a confident or very confident rating.

The latest impact report also found that sustained engagement further improved the SDOH impact results: members who completed 6 or more classes achieved 24% greater gains in confidence than single-class attendees, making the case for ongoing program investment over one-time interventions.

GetSetUp's sessions are fully mapped to SDOH pillars recognized by CMS, NCQA, and the Administration for Community Living. The platform requires no infrastructure from partners and is accessible on any device, with survey data available for reporting, ACL compliance, and grant documentation.
