We know that the way we eat plays a huge role in our health and well-being. These entrepreneurs have taken an approach to their craft that is worth all of us adopting  - they have a passion for food that is both nutritious and delicious.

Twyla, a retired event planner and office manager, wants to inspire people over 55 to eat healthier by maintaining a plant-based lifestyle. Her company, Plant Based Twy, also aims to help people incorporate other pillars of health, including sleep, movement, and community. Inspired by younger people who have monetized their plant-based journeys and helped thousands of people through their businesses, she wants to create the same opportunity for older adults. She'd like to interview people enjoying the benefits of a plant-based diet and how it is helping them. Her motto: It's never too late to go plant-based!

Gina, also known as Miss Gina, is a wife, mother, and grandmother with a wide range of experiences as a professional volunteer, interior designer, saleswoman, demo chef, and caterer. Her company Miss Gina Cooks, sells sauces and salsa that contain quality ingredients but no sugar. Her bruschetta, tapenade, and salsa are easy to use for appetizers, entrees, and cooking sauces that are fast and healthy.

Neeta M.

Neeta is 77 years young. Encouraged by her grandson to start her entrepreneurial journey, she founded Dadi's Secret. Among her offerings are chavanprash, a cooked mixture of sugar, ghee, Indian gooseberry jam, herbs, spices, and thandai powder, a special blend of spices used to flavor milk and deserts. Her blends are preservative-free. What sets her products apart? She makes everything herself with love and care. What's more, a portion of the proceeds go to charity.

With ingredients sourced from the local organic farmer's  market, Vaidhehi's health  powder mix, made with grains, millets, and dry-roasted nuts, is the perfect addition to porridge or other breakfast dishes. Her family has been eating it for years and decided to try it out with a few friends to see if they liked it. They loved it and asked for more. She now produces small batches at home - roasting the ingredients, grinding them in a flour mill, weighing, and packing them. She loves the idea of helping people eat healthier. Inspired by other women entrepreneurs, she'd like to expand her business and help more people eat healthier.
