This September, celebrate healthy aging!  

Healthy Aging Month started in 1992 to help people incorporate healthy habits into their daily routines. As we age, paying attention to our well-being is more important than ever to stave off age-related diseases, cognitive decline, and depression. The good news is that it's easier than ever to stay active. 

GetSetUp has a challenge for you. We want you to really focus on aging healthily for the next 30 days. How can you do that? 

We challenge you to take 30 GetSetUp classes and community sessions by the end of the month! 

Get in shape, keep your mind sharp by learning something new, discover delicious and nutritious recipes, or hone your job skills as you strive to age healthier. We have all these classes and more.

Here's how it works: 

  • First, post a picture of yourself engaging in healthy behavior (we're calling it a "healthie") in either the Cooking & Recipes space or the Sports & Fitness space in the Club.¬† You're automatically entered, just start taking classes.
  • Take 30 classes or more before the end of September. The person who takes the most classes (and posts a healthie) wins.
  • Everyone who attends 30+ classes and community sessions is invited to a special virtual event in October where we'll announce the Top Learner of Healthy Aging Month, who will receive a mystery prize. Spoiler alert: it involves a well-known celebrity ūüė鬆
