Ingredients

1 cup plus 1 tablespoon of totapuri mango

3 tablespoons powdered jaggery

Pinch of cardamom 

Salt to taste

Pinch of saffron

Directions

1. Peel and chop the mango into bite-sized pieces.

2. Heat the raw mango and some water either in a pot or a cooker until the mango cooks down to a paste.

3. Remove the cooked mango paste from the container and let it cool.

4. After it cools, grind the cooked mango with jaggery. 

5. Adjust the consistency according to a preference. Either to a pudding consistency or a pourable drink consistency.

6. Add a pinch of salt, cardamom, and saffron, then mix well.

7. Decorate the rim of the glass with salt and chili powder or black salt. 

8. Serve cool or chilled.
