f you're in the market for some delicious plant-based meat substitutes, look no further! We've rounded up some of our favorite brands that offer everything from burgers to sausages to deli slices.

Eating meat-free doesn't mean giving up flavor or variety.

When you think of vegan recipes, it's easy to imagine a plate of bland vegetables and raw almond butter. But there is a whole world of plant-based meat alternatives out there that can bring just as much flavor to your meals as any animal product.

Beyond Meat.

Beyond Meat is a meat substitute that is made from plants. It’s made from soy and pea protein, and it comes in the meat section of your grocery store.

This plant-based product is a good source of protein, iron and B12 vitamins—all nutrients that you need to be healthy!

Field Roast Sausages.

Field Roast sausages are a great source of protein, and they're available in several different flavors. These plant-based sausages are made from organic soy and wheat protein, which means they're gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and vegan. They also contain no cholesterol or animal fats.

The Field Roast Sausages come in over 10 different varieties—including Italian sausage, bratwurst and chorizo—and each flavor is packed with flavor thanks to unique ingredients like shiitake mushrooms or lentils. Each package contains four individually wrapped sausages that you can heat up on the stovetop or grill until warm before serving them on your favorite bun with all your favorite toppings!

Impossible Burger.

The Impossible Burger is a plant-based burger that's made from ingredients like wheat, coconut oil and potatoes. The company says it's "the world’s only burger that looks, cooks and tastes like ground beef from cows but is made entirely from plants."

The Impossible Burger has been available for several years at some restaurants in the U.S., but it just recently became available for purchase at grocery stores nationwide for about $13 per two-pack of patties — or more than twice as expensive as a normal beef patty.

According to the company, each burger contains 13 grams of protein and 20% less calories than one made with meat from cows. It also doesn't have cholesterol (good news if you're trying to avoid cholesterol) or antibiotics (good news if you're trying not to ingest any potentially harmful substances).

Not Dogs.

Not Dogs are a “meatless dog,” made from seitan, a high-protein wheat gluten product. Seitan is similar to meat in texture and taste and can be grilled or baked; unlike some plant-based meats, it does not need to be cooked in water before cooking. This means that you can use Not Dogs for any recipe that calls for hot dogs! The company offers several flavors of Not Dogs: Original Bratwurst (with vegan cheese), Smokey Maple Bacon, Three Cheese Italiano and Supernova Jalapeno Jack.

Tofurkey Ham.

Tofurkey Ham is a plant-based alternative to ham that's made from wheat protein, water, and spices. It's got a similar taste and versatility as real meat hams—you can use it in sandwiches or salads, or just tear pieces off and eat them straight up. Tofurkey is available in grocery stores nationwide, so you'll be able to find it easily if you want to give it a try.
